Allow the camera for the site
Use the lock icon next to the address bar and set Camera to Allow. A site you blocked once will not ask again until you change this.

Video call apps and other tabs can lock the camera. Close them, then press Test My Camera again.

The sites on this page record a free way to start, but the details differ. Some sell Premium, credits, or Boosts on top. The table lists the paid extras each record mentions and says "None stated in our sources" otherwise.
Why does my camera say blocked or in use?+
Blocked means the browser or operating system denied access to this site; allow it from the lock icon next to the address bar. In use means another app or tab holds the camera, so close video call apps and reload.
Is the camera check on this page private?+
Yes. The preview, resolution, and frame rate are read inside this browser tab. VideoChat.im does not record, store, or upload your video, and the camera stops when you press Stop or leave the page.
Do I need to install an app for camera chat?+
Not for the sites with web access in the table. We record web and mobile access for each site but have not verified app-store listings, so check the official page if you want an app.
